Nearly 135 days following the previous coach's first press conference as Rangers manager, successor Danny Rohl met with reporters at Rangers' stadium for the initial occasion.

The magnitude of the challenge ahead of him is well known, given Martin's turbulent and disappointing four-month spell.

The ex- Sheffield Wednesday boss was joined by chairman Andrew Cavenagh, along with the frequently questioned duo of football director Kevin Thelwell and CEO Stewart.

But what precisely did we learn from the young coach's maiden media outing as Rangers boss?

Rohl's Main Priority - Winning Comes First

A single message emerged clearly from Rohl's initial presentation in front of the local press - he understands the necessity to secure victories, and achieve this quickly.

His predecessor Martin lasted only 17 matches and 123 days in charge, so the inquiry emerged about what timeframe the new man believes is reasonable to transform the underperforming squad.

While skillfully avoiding a direct answer that might create future pressure, the coach's communication was very evident.

"Hopefully as soon as possible," he stated. "This is essential.
"In this business you have limited time. You can discuss future plans but it's understood it concerns the short-term and that period is about winning games. That is what I demand.
"Another aspect is also clear - I need all players to understand how we want to play. I come back to my main theme: it's winning, it's attractive and it's together. By following this sequence, I believe that I will remain very long here."

Pressure is Standard

Martin required security protection to exit the stadium after his final game in charge.

We've witnessed how toxic situations can turn at football clubs when performances decline. Protests have nearly become a regular aspect of game day experience on each part of Glasgow currently.

As the club's most youthful ever head coach, the inquiry was posed about which attributes the coach thinks he has that would allow him to handle, never mind excel, in one of the most pressurized roles in UK soccer?

"In my opinion pressure in this business are standard," he stated. "You must learn that rapidly.
"I think certain individuals could reference my youth but I'm 16 years on this path. I experienced an excellent chance to work with Bayern Munich and be only an assistant coach, but I experienced the reality to manage a team and the demands you face.
"You begin winning games and then certain people claim you must produce entertaining soccer. That's the next phase but precisely my intention. I enjoy those expectations and I'm excited for the future."

Thelwell Explains Striker Acquisition & Appointing Family Member

There were numerous questions from the media directed at Thelwell.

Significant attention has focused on the hiring of Robbie Thelwell as head of recruitment, with fans unconvinced about his qualifications for the position.

However, he defended and explained the choice to recruit his son to the club.

"It's always uncomfortable to listen and in appearance I believe everyone understood when we took this step to appoint him that he'd be seen in a particular way," Thelwell said.
"The truth of circumstances is that we aim to attract the top players to this club.
"My perspective on Robbie's career and background is he required no my assistance in soccer.
"He's worked at Villa as head scout, after which he joined Norwich City as head of scouting and then got promoted to player pathways manager.
"Before we hiring him, multiple Premier League teams sought to acquire him. What we did from the start of proceedings was consult with the CEO, the chairman and vice-chairman Marathe about this situation.
"I was extremely open and I think he likely underwent a more rigorous procedure than any other who's employed by this football club.
"I'm certain is that he will work constantly to achieve success for this football club and I'm looking forward to him demonstrating that he'll become a valuable staff member for the club."

Additionally, Thelwell supported the signing of forward Youssef Chermiti, who arrived at the club for an alleged first payment of £8m, after failing to find the net in 24 games for his previous club.

The sporting director who transferred the Portugal youth international to Liverpool from Sporting - again for significant money in a £15m transfer.

The question came if he stands by his expensive signing, who hasn't yet register in seven matches for Rangers.

"Yes, completely," Thelwell responded. "I believe Youssef Chermiti is a player who's got great ability.
"I haven't doubted him whatsoever. Similarly, I think Danny will assist in get the best out of Youssef.
"These are early days for the young player, he's a promising prospect and of course with young talents they sometimes require patience.
"However, I'm convinced throughout of his career here he'll demonstrate that he is very, very good footballer."

Stewart Acknowledges Supporters' Frustration and Hurt

The chief executive was in the media scrutiny, given the criticism that has been directed at him by some of the club's fans.

Additionally, there was a banner in the stadium during the recent draw with Dundee United suggesting him - and Thelwell - to depart before they were packed for them.

Similar to the sporting director, Stewart didn't avoid the issue.

"I completely appreciate the frustration and hurt that the supporters are feeling because performances recently haven't been good enough and nobody's happy with those," he stated.
"The pain and disappointment they feel is mirrored inside the leadership.
"Also understand that there must exist an outlet for those frustrations and as chief executive, that's me.
"I serve as lightning rod for those and my role as a
